Meet Annie, a talented local artist based in Weaverville and the creative force behind Porch Light Studio. If you’ve strolled through the neighborhood, you’ve likely admired her vibrant flags waving proudly around town.
Annie’s journey with The LoCol began when she recognized her need for structure and accountability to tackle the less exciting, yet essential, parts of building her business. Like many entrepreneurs with ADHD, Annie found that a supportive coworking space made all the difference in staying focused and motivated.
Most days, you’ll find Annie at The LoCol, sometimes wrestling with the coffee machine, other times gathering the courage to ask clients for payment. But beyond her own work, Annie is a generous collaborator, always ready to offer design insights and support to fellow members.
Her story is a testament to the power of community and the importance of creating spaces where neurodiverse entrepreneurs can thrive. Annie’s creativity, resilience, and willingness to help others make her an invaluable part of The LoCol community.
