Abridged Terms of Service See the full ToS @ thelocalc.com/terms-of-service Membership is open to anyone 18+ who agrees to these terms. Guests can come once for free; after that, they’ll need a pass or membership. Access to rooms and hours depends on your membership tier. 24/7 access is limited to certain members and can be revoked if misused. Please don’t share your door code, app login, or other private access info. If someone doesn’t uphold our agreements, we may pause or end their access. Please treat others with kindness and care. Use inclusive, non-discriminatory language. Get consent before touching someone or interrupting their work. Clean up after yourself and leave spaces ready for the next person. Don’t record or photograph people without their consent. Stick to your room reservation times. Limit phone booth use to 2 hours, and be mindful of others waiting. We’re grounded in queer and trans liberation, racial equity, body neutrality, and access. This space is for LGBTQIA+ folks, BIPOC, disabled people, and all bodies to feel safe and celebrated. Harassment, discrimination, and intimidation are not tolerated. If something’s broken, missing, or feels off, let us know. If conflict or harm happens, you don’t have to navigate it alone—we’re here to help. You can talk to a team member or email us anytime. We believe in shared responsibility, and your voice helps shape the space. Please use the space for legal, community-minded purposes. No drugs or alcohol (unless it’s a Collective-sponsored event). No smoking or vaping indoors. Service animals (as defined by the ADA) are allowed; other animals, including emotional support animals, are not. Shared equipment and supplies should be cleaned and returned after use. Treat all tools, furniture, and shared spaces with respect. Memberships are billed monthly or annually. If a payment fails, we’ll contact you to update it. You can cancel anytime using the CoWorks app. Monthly memberships can be refunded if canceled within 7 days of payment. No refunds after that. Annual memberships are not refundable, but remain active through the term. We don’t sell or share your personal info. We may contact you with updates related to membership or events. We use CoWorks to manage access, and by using it, you also agree to their policies. Security cameras are in some common areas for safety. They’re only reviewed if needed, and not monitored live. You use the space at your own risk and release The Local Collective from liability for injury or theft. Let us know right away if something feels unsafe or needs repair. Whatever you make here—art, writing, design, code—is fully yours. We don’t claim any ownership or rights to your work. Our job is to support your creativity, not profit from it. If we make significant updates to these terms, we’ll let you know. Continuing to use the space means you’re on board with the latest version.
